According to Imy Velderrain, a supervising dispatcher with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched to the intersection of Holt Avenue and Dudley Street at 7:43 p.m.

Assembling units discovered 13 victims, according to Velderrain. One person was pronounced dead at the spot, three required serious medical attention, seven required delayed medical attention, and two refused to take an ambulance despite medical advice.

There wasn't any more information regarding the event available right away.

According to Aly Mejia of the Pomona Police Department, the accused driver was a 26-year-old resident of that city who fled the scene before coming forward approximately an hour and fifteen minutes later.

Multiple requests from The Times for confirmation of the arrest or other information regarding the crash on Friday night were rejected by a police watch commander.
